These terms cover the GameplayCap app and this website. By using them you agree to them.

The Free app

The Free app is free for personal and commercial use. Free clips include a short GameplayCap end card. Limits may apply and are shown in the app.

Plus subscription

Plus is a yearly subscription that unlocks the app on up to 3 of your own devices. It costs $60 per year (shown as $5 per month), charged yearly. It renews automatically each year until you cancel. You manage it through the Stripe customer portal, linked from your account. If you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the paid year. The licence is for you, not for resale. We may deactivate licences obtained by fraud.

If your subscription ends, the app returns to the Free plan on its next check-in. Your recordings, clips and settings stay on your computer.

Refunds

You can get a refund within 14 days of your first payment, no questions asked, through Stripe. Renewals can be refunded within 14 days of the charge. After that, refunds are at our discretion.

Your recordings

Everything you record belongs to you. You are responsible for having the right to record and share the games and content you capture.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break anti-cheat rules, game terms or the law. Do not reverse engineer the licence system.

Third-party software

The app uses open-source components under their own licences, listed in the app under Third-party notices.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We are not liable for lost recordings, data or profits, to the extent the law allows.
